the rains are here

Yes - I think it's official. The rainy season has begun. It is pouring down and thunder and lightening - a proper storm.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. It makes planning all our social events very difficult. How are we going to have dance parties if there is always fear of rain???

We had some friends over this afternoon and they had to run through the rain to get to their taxi (as you can see...)

Got back from Lusaka today - had a great mini vacation with Kristin complete with lots of eating (everything we can't get in Ndola...). But it's always nice to come home to Ndola.
