Balancing Act

A young Herring Gull showing off his balancing skills. Our neighbours in the top flat throw out scraps of bread and other bits and pieces and, as a result, we get small groups of gulls, Rooks and Starlings all coming in for their share.

The mealworms I ordered on Tuesday arrived today but I'd put out the last of the suet feasts (now hanging on the apple tree instead of the ornamental house outside the living room) before it came and so I thought if I put out the mealworms now when the Starlings are attacking the suet they'll automatically see the bowl of mealworms and then they'll all disappear, too! Will put the mealworms out tomorrow and get some photos then ;)
