Closing the door

So this morning was my last session on the River Almond this year. Soon the season will end and the fish will be left to spawn in peace and so the cycle will continue.

A lovely day in Edinburgh today, cool with bright sunshine and light winds. Just how I like it. Now the important part of the day (fishing) is past, I can concentrate on all the other 'stuff' that needs done. Clothes washing (when i find the instructions for the washing machine), clean the bike (no instructions needed), research new bike (Chinese titanium or English steel?), plan holiday (one week away), plan workparty at bothy(sometime next April) and mail to post.
