Bed lamps

I'm not sure if anyone will have any idea what I'm referring to here, but these tulips really remind me of bed lamps. There's a scene in The Goodies and the Beanstalk, when the three are destitute and Graham lies down on a park bench, spreads out an enormous newspaper over himself, blows up a paper bag to ergonomic pillow perfection, and flicks on the tulip lap by his head. So when I was walking down Earlham Rd one day and saw these, I may have smiled at the thought.
