Tea for two

After the mist lifted yesterday it turned out to be a lovely day but today it is raining so no outside blip

Thought to blip china cups and saucers & when in cabinet saw the small ones. They would be no use to me for a cuppa far too small and one cup is not enough, 2 or sometimes three cups....and one thing led to another, so added the japanese figures as thought of the tea ceremony. The lid at the bottom was from a little dish that got broken when a little cat jumped on the cabinet...

The white cloth is beautiful, came from Mum's cousins, not sure if it was made by one of them, do not use it as it would be a shame if something was spilled on it and it is well starched and no doubt would be unable to get it back to pristine condition. Not sure how the edging was made but it adds the finishing touch
