High Waters

The rain has stopped, and people are starting to assess the damage. Nobody talked about much else today than the floods etc.

The river (above) is a lot higher than usual, hard for you to see, but I'd say it has risen somewhere between 1-2 meters. One of my colleagues could not get home yesterday and thus slept in the office. I know at least one other has been evacuated. The video of Bonassola I linked to yesterday is one where the ground floor belong to a colleague of mine. It's his holiday home, so not too bad in that sense, but at least half of it must be filled with mud.
