Spur Winged Plover

Also known as a masked plover. Coming in to land with everything spread.

I've been wanting to get a photo of one of these guys but they are so nervy they always take off before I can manage it. I'd still like to get a decent capture of one front on so that the mask shows but at least I've managed to capture one of his spurs here.

You probably need to view it in large to see the spur on the leading edge of the right wing.
