Yellow fever

I headed to the local private travel clinic today for my yellow fever jab in prep for our upcoming honeymoon. The jab itself was absolutely painless but the after effects caused by my ridiculously low blood pressure were horrible.

I thought I was going to be okay, but then the cold sweats came on followed by the blurry lights and light head. Anyways five minutes sat down with oxygen and water and I was right as rain again.

This is probably the first of a few jabs I'll be getting ... think I'll ask to lie down next time!
