I am safely ensconced at JP's Java, working away. I need to drop in to the Co-op a bit later for some postcards (look out Wendy) and then off to serve on the interview panel for the 2013 Texas 4000 team, the reason I'm down here in the first place.
It's odd to be back on UT's campus. There's this weird barrier between me now and me then, but also this overwhelming nostalgia. Isn't it funny how that works? You both want and don't want to go backwards at the same time. It makes you realize why people never leave, and then it also makes you glad that you did leave.
This is one of the power plants that provides electricity to the entire UT campus. There are at least 2, maybe 4 of them. I can never remember. I always loved the design though - elegant.
