The Heat Is Off

My electric heater was a bit too much for the socket to handle.

Last night, I smelled this weird chemical smell and noticed it came from the socket extension cord. It was hot as hell, so I turned off my 2000 Watt heater I used in my bedroom.

When it had cooled down, I tried to pull out the plug, but it was kinda stuck. Now I know why: it melted & fused with the socket.
So that thing was a fire hazard waiting to happen. Glad I caught it in time.
