We had the Cygnet overnight and he slept for 13 hours straight.
Either his teeth weren't so bad, he likes it here, or he did it just to pi** of his mother.

so we had great fun in the morning until he was collected.

This afternoon I went and dropped off pictures at a friends house and on the way back stopped and spoke to a tree surgeon who was cutting up and removing a large beech tree which had to be taken down a weeks ago.
There was some lovely spalting right across the diameter of the trunk (which was big).
So I now have a slice of the trunk for turning
Unfortunately it is in 2 halves as it was too heavy to lift otherwise. So there will be no big plater made but I will get a for bowls and vases out of them.

The evening was spent making slide shows and going through somebodies portfolios to help try and choose some pictures for a calendar.

At about five minutes to midnight I realised I hadn't taken a blip ...... so it was a rush and you get one of the Cygnets favourite toys and his favourite shape.
