Jay's Wildscapes

By jay

long summer evenings

Today has been rather a mixed bag. Tanya had her degree performance in piano this morning, 20 minutes that she has been dreading for weeks as an awful lot hangs on it. She was sufficiently nervous about the exam that she wanted me to be her page turner rather than one of her fellow students. I can't even read music but perhaps its a comfort and familiarity thing. I did me best. She did wonderfully. Fingers crossed it's marked as a 2-1 or above to allow her to carry on with her studies for a further two years.

The farmers are out around our cottage tonight, rushing to harvest the silage before the weather changes.
