Happy Diwali

Diwali the festival of lights is tomorrow the 26th - but D received a little box of home made cakes from our local newsagent who appears to hve adopted him as they have also given him curries on occassions. We had planned to visit London when the festival was on but becasue of his cough he didn't want to go.

Good news my dad went to Kings today and had his stents cleaned and they also fitted extra ones which surprised me coz I thought they weren't able - as a result dad is like a new person and was almost running when he walked us all to the exit tonight. It looks like the only thing stopping him coming home is his wound which hasn't properly healed but they may send him home and have a district nurse visit daily to change the dressing.
