Lavender

When eight years ago my promdate asked me what flowers I liked, I answered him 'lavender'. He then said that it was not a flower, but a herb. Whatever...

It had not occured to me at that time (it took me two weeks to figure it out) why he asked me this. But I'm still amazed at how he managed to get them for me at the beginning of may when we had our prom.

Just for the record, Jaap was not the promdate.
