Bit of a prickly day

Lovely start to the day with blue sky & hint of sunshine.

Headed to a local craft centre to organise a birthday cake for my forthcoming party, unfortunately the craft centre is closed on a Tuesday-big fail.
On our way home along some lovely country lanes I spotted this lovely flowering gorse.

Off to meetings during the afternoon at our sister hospital (nice way to spend part of a day off)

Bought a sewing pattern today & then in my regular club magazine there's a gorgeous knitting pattern I'm going to have to make-where do I start & do I have enough time?
