Still a little wonder...

This little rose has been flowering on my patio on and off all summer. Called 'Flower Power', it was bought for me by my friend C as a retirement present and it's become a star in my garden. It looks great in a large pot and I hope it will be a good performer on the patio for many years to come.

Another mild day meant I could do some more tidying in the garden. It will soon be time to bring all the container fuchsias and geraniums into the porch for the winter.

For the record: 18C, sunny spells. Short heavy downpour with hail. Prolonged heavy rain has brought serious flooding to some western parts of Britain and the worst floods in Dublin for more than 40 years.
