Light

I did see some deer rutting today. I also saw some paired-off deer. I took a few photo's but the quality wasn't up to much - similar to yesterday's. I used my Nikon 17mm-200mm but I don't think the quality of the zoomed image is very good... or is it my crap eyesight?

Can anyone recommend a good Nikon zoom lens that retains detail? And, what is the 17mm-200mm actually any good for? Perhaps I'm missing the point?


Thanks for all the lovely comments on my 300th blip yesterday. Time flies! But I'm still enjoying it and I'm still inspired and awestruck on a daily basis!
