8th European Jazz Festival

Final day of the annual 5-day European Jazz Festival held here in Athens (more photos here). As had gone to the previous concert last year it was no surprise that this was a great event, filled with music from some of the best bands around Europe. This year I was really exchited to see Makiato (Slovenia), Duo Tuule Kann - Jaak Sooaar (Esthonia), Deodato Siquire Tio (Denmark), Widbirds & Peacedrums (Sweden), Ondrej Pivec Organic quartet (Czech Republic) and (shown here) the Harcsa Veronica Quartet (Hungary).

Superb music in one of the best places in Athens for outdoor concerts. Every night there were 3-4 groups playing to a really big audience. Just Amazing!!!
