A Welcome Guest

I was contemplating some drastic work on one of the plants on the toilet windowsill when I realised we had a visitor.The Tortoiseshells are know to hibernate but a centrally-heated house is not the place.

It is more than welcome to share our home, but tomorrow we will put it out into a cool, dark shed where it will get the rest it needs.

Then I will have to do something with the Calathea!

I'm excited about tomorrow: my favourite local, glossy magazine is doing an article on the town centre and is sending someone to interview me! I'm not keen on having my photo taken, but it will be great for my business if it is featured in this issue.
