Splash!

Took kiddo out to the Hermitage of Braid today. Lovely Autumn day, and it made South Morningside look unbelievably pretty, with the solid houses lit up by the sun and the mature woodland just round the corner.

Kiddo was asleep when we arrived so I wandered round appreciating the wood. Then we met up with some other parents and pre-schoolers and wandered along towards the Hermitage itself, but along the way kiddo got really too wet to continue. She coped fine; I just wrapped her in a cardigan and we headed home a bit early.
