There was the small issue of the rugby world cup final this morning. A mediocre French team v a New Zealand team showing signs of wobbling under the pressure of the favourites tag.

France, to be fair, were excellent and threw everything but the kitchen sink at New Zealand. They completely defied all their critics who said they'd be a soft touch. But the Kiwis held firm and won the game 8 - 7. The lowest score ever in a rugby world cup final.
