This is a horse collar from the shetlands for a Shetland pony.My mum and dad and I was up there in 1969, for a wedding. My dad also had a farmer friend he might have got it from in EDINBURGH. My dad was horse daft ,all his life.When he was young in the late twenties ,he wanted to join the army , just to beside the horses.He loved the big working horses especially clydesdales.He used to go to the local farm show,
The ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW.This is the biggest one in Scotland, takes place just on the edge of the city,beside the airport in June
