Late Night / Last Minute Blip
I went to see a couple of movies this afternoon, and didn't get back until late, so I didn't get to take any shots in daylight. This is the HUD (Housing & Urban Development) office down the street from the loft - the view from the parking space I was lucky enough to snag (and thus avoid having to walk home from the parking deck at 11:00 pm).
Speaking of movies - one of the things we saw was a film called The Fall - I'd never heard of it before it opened yesterday, and haven't seen any ads for it anywhere. I suspect the studio hasn't the slightest clue how to sell it - sort of The Princess Bride, with the art direction from House of Flying Daggers, and mixed with a heavy dose of Leaving Las Vegas. How could you not be curious after that description? It's a wonderful film - beautifully shot, and very cleverly put together - we went in not knowing what to expect, and came out having thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended, if you get the chance.
