Old Point Loma Lighthouse

This old lighthouse is located in the Cabrillo National Monument near San Diego. A new lighthouse (behind fences and difficult to photograph) has replaced this handsome building, now part of the monument to Cabrillo, who led the first expedition from Europe to what is now California. Fog prevented us from seeing the usually spectacular view of the San Diego harbor.
