Housebound

First day of half-term and mumps boy now looks normal again but a pleading call to the Dr for a reprieve on our 7 day isolation fell on sympathetic but unyielding ears so we're in until Thursday. I've found it a bit weird but more weird I think the kids have rather enjoyed it and A even went as far as to declare it, "the best day of my life, so far'. Well, it did include dancing, charades, a film, colouring and games in the garden so I guess not all bad.

Tomorrow she has a playdate with a neighbour, I hope going outside won't be too disappointing.
