Breakfast friends

Every morning there is a chorus of birds around my house.

The neighbours have a lot of native trees, which are currently in flower. Parrots come and feed on these but they are tricky to photograph because they are so flighty. Generally if I go to pick up the camera they are already gone. This morning I was camped out there waiting, waiting, waiting.

They are just gorgeous with their bright colours.
