A quiet day

After a busy few days, today has been all about relaxing and recharging. Although my children saw it more as a 'we'll get every single toy out of the cupboard' day. It has been fun, there have been no tears, so it's been a good day.

But every time I look at the these flowers that my brother sent me for my birthday, it just reminds me more of how much I miss him and how much of our lives he has missed. He's the other side of the world, living in Canberra, Australia. But thanks to the modern wonders of Skype we can still see each other :)
