Old and New

I was in Fenchurch Street today and I took a photograph of an old church and a new building next door. The church is St Botolph's Without - Aldgate taken from Minories Street. It is a Georgian Church but they think site predates 1066 but the first written records were dated 1115. It was rebuilt in 1600 and again in 1741-44. It was bombed in the blitz in WW2 so there have been many various reconstructions
