The Red Lion
As we were on the road for most of the day travelling back to Renfrew from Bicester, I decided on a quick blip before leaving.
This is the Red Lion pub in Stratton Audley where we had lunch yesterday. Another thatched building full of character as well as good food and ale. The Red Lion is very much the focal point of the village and was full of locals enjoying their lunch. Son had the roast beef and yorkshire pudding - what could be more traditional in an old English pub on a Sunday!
All in all, a great wee holiday in the Cotswolds and Bicester area. As you might expect the best part was catching up with Ewan and Suzi and spending some time with them.
