Hospice

Fundraising has been going on for a number of years now to build a hospice locally; at present there is funding for a daycare centre, and soon work will start on a customised building in the grounds of our local hospital. This is just one of the ideas for fundraising, which I think will be popular as we move into the Christmas season. The idea is to have a large tree in the town, with each light being sponsored in memory someone close to you. A rather poignant way to raise money and remember a loved one.
