Mews-ing

An early start after last night's late finish, and after some loafing, shopping for the biggest beef joint I've ever seen (more on this tomorrow) and collection of parcels, K and I headed off to do a bit of shopping and meet Aunty Ro for K's horse riding treat in Hyde Park. A lovely day for it: clear blue skies and crispy autumn leaves. I had a wander around the park (on foot) people watching.

Later there were cakes, feeding the swans, and a wander down Portobello Road to visit the market. In all the years Mr B and I lived just round the corner from the market we didn't once manage to visit it, so it was fun to see what all the fuss was about.

Tonight was a girls night out and though we were a slightly depleted group, it was great fun to catch up over some rather tasty food.
