Glassy

Did a bit of exploring round the islands before heading back to shore. Onto Mallaig where we got a ferry over to Knoydart (we originally planned to canoe there, but the trolley disaster on day one prevented the portage!). Struck lucky with the last room available on Knoydart and that was only available because the midges had chased someone off. Yay for midges! I never thought I would say that.

B&B is cool and run by a lovely lady called Cara who can't do enough for you. Had a bit of an explore and some afternoon drinking at the pub (how good does it feel drinking on a tuesday afternoon when you would normally be at work!) Fantastic fish dinner. We were hoping for a Ceildah (sp?) at the pub but we got some dutch sailors on an accordian and a flute, whooping and thigh slapping instead.
