Porcelain Berries

I've always admired the amazing blues and purples of porcelain berries. They remind me of bird's eggs, especially when they are in their more pastel phase. Unfortunately, it's yet another example of an invasive weed - the ones pictured here are strangling some wild roses.

I was a bit of a slug today. It was such a dull, gloomy, oppressive day that I stayed inside (except for a brief venture out to shoot the porcelain berries).
