A most amazing gift...

Last week, my mother's two sisters (one from Pennsylvania and one from Kentucky) came to pay a visit. I was so disappointed that their visit was short and I would be unable to see them.

We were supposed to go to see my parents on Friday, but in light of our Angus's death, we changed the day to Saturday. I was so happy to see my parents and my brother because they were upbeat, although saddened, too.

When we arrived, my brother wanted to show me what my Aunt Barbara had left for me. I was so surprised to receive two heavy glass Scotties! They are so beautiful! I placed one on a table in front of the window so the sun would make it sparkle, but the leaves on the tree made the Scottie look yellow/green. It is actually clear glass.

Can you imagine a more wonderful gift in light of Angus's untimely death? What a precious and special gift, indeed!
