Overwhelmed by Ti Machann

On one of our stops during the 6 hour long ride back from Okap to Port-au-Prince. The women were very eager to sell their produce. I purchased a big bag of passion fruit and avocados for $2.50 (I love Haiti) and everyone packed-in the car to head out.

As a last desperate measure, one determined ti machann (who had been following me the entire time) dumped the contents of her basket into the back of the truck and demanded we pay-up. After much attempted reasoning, I eventually pried the basket from her hands, filled it back up with her fruit and returned it to her firmly.

And back to the road...
