Down under
Rugby final calling at F's, we ate toast and drank tea during the excitement.
Agu took his own cereal just incase. I then had a phone call that there was some wood waiting for me at an olivar. With a few twenty point turns on the Coll road and some wood fettling by boys, we had the back of the car full of two year old dry stuff (ideal for fire starting) and a lot of bits of bark everywhere. And all before lunch.
Pig on a stick then at Sa Teulera, where as AKHF and mv know the meat falls off the bones. We watched the spectacle of the special oven, specifically for heating pans and making charcoal for the indoor grill, as the little piggies rolled round and round on the spit outside. Sorry, they are just too delicious.
Stoked up, we went to the beach for a swim (boys only, though the water is still warm) and chat and chat and chat... of what, for example, would make Monday mornings a real pleasure. I'm back to work tomorrow after a week off, but there's plenty of entertainment happening here and I'm really not dreading it as I may have done some years back.
For pre and during dinner entertainment, the talking sofa has made a tremendous comeback. Today involved a dolphin, a frog and more regurgitated cushions, as Ben and I struggled with Catalan and Castellano word stresses. Chocolate rewarded two very lovely boys. And hurray for the all blacks.
