Race for Life!

Today mum and I took part in the Race for Life (Cancer Research Fundraising Event). We had a fun day and hopefully lost some weight at the same time! lol
On a serious note it is a very emotional day as the women that take part display on their t-shirts, who they are racing for. A loved-one, a friend, a friend of a friend........... who has been either a survivor or lost to Cancer.
7500 women are wearing their hearts on their sleeves, sharing with strangers how their lives have been effected in some way by Cancer.
This was displayed on a cancer research t-shirt and I thought it was inspirational.

Honouring the TAKEN
And NEVER giving up HOPE
