Dawn
One advantage of living so far North is that in midwinter you get to see the dawn around 8.30 am.
In midsummer, you get to see the dawn before you go to bed. Well, you do if you are a night owl.
I'd love to claim I was partying throughout the night and walked home as the sun was rising but actually I just got up to go to the loo.
Shows how mad this blipping lark is that bleary eyed though I was the first (well maybe the second) thing I did was find my camera and open the window (brrrrrr).
At least I had proof I was a) not dreaming and b) up at 4.28 in the morning.
Great thing is that now I get to share how wonderful this moment was without having to wake the whole house up.
