Sgwarnog: In the Field

Scurvy Deceiver

This is another fungi for you to identify, a pleasingly pink gilled one. This one was only a few hundred yards further up the moor from Moor Mushroom, which I brought you a couple of weeks ago. It's tempting to 'garden' a bit around the moor mushrooms to get a clearer shot, but this is the tangled mat that they grow through.

I put this up on iSpot, where it's been identified as Scurvy Deceiver, which is apparently relatively uncommon.

This should have been a Welsh blip, but we had to call off our scheduled trip home for half-term as we all have colds.

I nearly brought you another sunrise, this one complete with a crescent moon, but I thought four inside a week would be a bit much.
