While out in the garden this afternoon I managed, finally, to get a shot of a bee close up.
There are a few shots of this bee here., who was very methodical in the way he was extracting the nectar from this flower, moving around the individual flowers one after the other while ignoring the camera the whole time.

I heard that eating local honey can help with hayfever.
