screen on a screen

what you are seeing is a camera looking at what the camera is looking at.

hooked up my digital video camera to my widescreen computer monitor for some playback. switching it into record mode i realized that the camera was pointed at the very screen it was outputing too. not bad, i guess for the still shot component of a device otherwise intended for motion.
