More treats

I had to pick up a hire car this morning; they gave me a fairly substantial upgrade to a car that fair purrs along but is far larger than I need. It also has one of those irritating electronic handbrakes. Mustn't grumble though.

After a brief and windswept visit to the allotment we visited the family Scobes to drop of a small astronomical telescope that will hopefully be far more useful in the Far North than it is in Leith.

When we were at the allotment DH refilled the bird feeder and hung up some more delicious treats for them. The photo is of a caged arrangement holding two blocks of suet, one apparently containing cranberries and the other one mealworms and insect parts. Exactly which/whose parts was not made clear. There are going to be some very chubby sparrows about.
