Clearing the ground

Very lucky it was such a lovely morning for the first stage of our sundial project. The village gardeners supervised and helped us take the roses out of the flower bed and took them away to prepare them for replanting. The granite stones are being cut and if there is no frost we might be able to do the next stage of ground preparation before Christmas.
