Astronomical Day....

.....lazy start, eventually surfacing after the 10th kick in the face from the cat demanding to be fed. Popped out briefly before lunch for some messages and became ensnared in a free wine tasting at the local bottle shop. Arriving home feeling quite pleased with myself, Meles and Dave had popped round with the most amazing lend for Stig. I foresee stunning times ahead with this object....oh, that's astrology not astronomy. Phanks guys, lovely to see you and thanks for the thing.

Afternoon spent on functional stuff to make way for the World Egg Cup Final tomorrow and some family stuff too.

Nancy and Stig are camped in front of the TV watching MasterChef and Strictly.....(shakes head)....I'm blipping, listening to some chunes and about to get tucked into the Saturday Guardian supplement and a couple of bottles of Little Creatures.
