End Of The Cactus Garden
There is a path you can walk through behind the Amado Territory Inn which is a fenced in Cactus Garden. This is the end of the path, with the large beavertail prickly pear, ocotillo, and saguaro.
But I didn't take this shot because of the cactus garden, I took it because I thought it was a beautiful western scene. (Maybe even an Autumn desert scene.)
One interesting thing to note is that if you look closely, you'll see that a few feet behind the wire fence there's a drop off and then it picks up on the other side.
That's because the Santa Cruz River bed is right there, just about a hundred feet from where I was standing. I'll try to get a shot of the river soon.
[try this one in large]
This weekend will see the end of the ninety degree weather. The earlier clouds have cleared out and the sky is perfectly clear and that dazzling Arizona blue. Crayola should name one of it's colors after the AZ sky!
