Cala Tuent
Don't be fooled, it may look idyllic but the water (as I painfully discovered) was full of jellyfish.
We visited this cove 8years ago, and I swam off the rocks near the pier. We headed back today, equipped with mask and snorkel. The drive to Cala Tuent is over a remarkable road that climbs to 682m in the space of a few kilometres. The result is that not too many people head to this cove.
Today I swam for a couple of minutes before the attack. Then I knew why there was no-one else in the water. Such a shame as it is a beautiful place. But maybe that's the point. We don't belong in their realm.
Later, as we lounged on the pier with other jellyfish-phobes, a catamaran sailed in and dropped anchor.
