Sumburgh

The West beach at Sumburgh with the sea charging in. Fortunately the dunes protect the airport from the full blast. The plane sitting on the tarmac is the flight that just arrived from Glasgow and was then heading for Ireland.

Wind gusting to just under 50 mph most of the day and not to get any better for the next few days.
