The view at 7.55am over the Menai Straits looking north towards Conwy and Llandudno on the mainland.

And they're right about red sky in the morning.

Thankfully we were under ground at the Llechwedd Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog so the gale force winds and driving rain didn't affect us.
