GONE!

This is the erm, statue holding thing over the door of the church over the road. Only properly visible from my bedroom window.

I very mch suspect, in fact would put money on the fact, that something used to be there. You can see the rubble where something was taken out.

I also suspect that this could have been something to do with the reformation of the church seeing as every single statue, like this, has been visibly removed.

I often wonder what it was and where it went. If anyone knows, please tell me!

I considered putting this one in to black and white but I think the colours and weathering of the stone are absolutely fascinating.
