Venice

I have not been as cold as today for a long long time....we took a 2 1/2 hr boat trip round Venice today..sat on open deck....bright blue sky...sunny....but the bora (???) blew... a fierce north east wind that cuts right through you.. the view was fab though!

after a curry and a brandy am warmed through again.........

piccie is the Doges Palce, St Mark & it's square..... besides our 3000 or so strong ship, there were 5 other mega cruise ships visiting Venice today.....St Mark's Square was a sea of bodies...glad we decided not to get off for a walk...:)
